Rule 18
_Arrangement for preparation of existing list (standing list)

(1) Section 6A of the Act. Individuals, organizations, suppliers, builders, consultants, non-governmental organizations or service providers who wish to be registered or updated in the existing list must attach a copy of the following documents to the relevant public body Schedule-2A. The application should be submitted in the following format:
(a) Certificate of Organization or Firm Registration,
(b) Permanent Account Number or Certificate of Value Added Tax Registration, (c) Tax Payment Certificate, and
(d) Commercial license as required.
(2) The public body shall register the application received as per sub-rule (1) and register it in Schedule-2B. The following must be given to the applicant.
(3) The public body shall comply with Section 6A of the Act. Details of separate existing list as per Schedule-2c. Records should be kept in the following format and updated every financial year.
(4) The details of the existing list as per sub-rule (3) shall be posted on the notice boards of the district-based Treasury and Accounts Controller's Office and District Administration Office or posted on the website of the relevant public body and made public on a half-yearly basis.
(5) Notwithstanding anything contained in this rule, bidders or proposers who are not on the existing list shall not be excluded from participating in sealed bids, bids or proposals called for by public bodies.
